First i would like to warn you that rooting is a process where you gain full access to system files and any unwanted changes to system file can lead to non functioning of your device.Also when you root your device it may void the warranty so be sure about the decision you make.I will not be held responsible if your device runs in some trouble or gets bricked.
So before rooting your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 you need to do the following check up:
1.Charge your device battery to full or 80%.If the device is low on charge then the process will fail in middle and may result in bricked device.
2.Back up your device data.
3.Enable USB debugging on Samsung Galaxy y.Go to Settings menu>>Applications>>Development>>check mark USB debugging.
4.Original Samsung Galaxy Y USB cable.
Now to root your Samsung Galaxy Y S5630 do the following:
1.Download the root zip file from the link below from PC as some times mobile internet can corrupt the zip.

2.Connect your device to PC in mass storage mode and copy the zip file in root of SD card and not in a folder.
3.Now remove the device from PC and power down the device.
4.Boot into recovery mode by simultaneously pressing Volume up + Lock button + Home button same time until you see Samsung boot logo.
5.In recovery mode navigate using volume key.Use the menu button to select.
6.Now select "Apply Update from SD Card".
7.Find update.zip file you saved in root of SD card.
8.Select it and wait for the process to complete.
9.Select reboot system now.
